Vascular Surgery
Vascular surgery is a surgical subspecialty in which diseases of the vascular system, or arteries, veins and lymphatic circulation, are managed by medical therapy, minimally-invasive catheter procedures, and surgical reconstruction. Vascular surgeons are trained in the diagnosis and management of conditions affecting the circulation, including disease of the arteries, veins and lymphatic vessels.

- open/endovascular repair of abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA)
- endovascular/open bypass surgery for critical leg ischaemia
- endovenous/foam sclerotherapy/open surgery for varicose veins (EVLT/RFA)
- treatment of spider/reticular veins
- treatment of deep vein thrombosis (DVT)
- renal access surgery/arteriovenous fistula
- insertion of central lines under ultrasound and imaging control
- treatment of arterial/foot ulcers
